In our daily push to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and balance priorities, we often fail to give priority to the one thing that can make all the others easier – and more effective. We fail to pray.
We can often give lip-service to the notion of prayer, but neglect to submit “… everything by prayer and supplication….” to God.
God is soverign, God is powerful, and God is eager to give Good Things to his children whom He loves. Scripture informs us that as we humbly submit to our Heavenly Father, he will shape and fulfill our deepest desires: “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” “You have not because you ask not.”
